ECOLOGICAL PROJECT HCO-EC8 IN HONDURAS

At this project volunteers will be working in the reforestation of different areas in Copán to protect water sources and nature in general.

Volunteers will help in the following areas:

1. Create seed nurseries
2. Plant trees in uninhabited areas
3. Create organic compost
4. Construct nature trails
5. Fertilize plantations

1. All levels of Spanish
2. Minimum age 18
3. Show initiative
4. Commitment and dedication to the project
5. Good working attitude

The minimum time we recommend is 4 weeks.

Both beginners as well as advanced speakers of Spanish will do well in this project. However, speaking better Spanish will certainly enrich the volunteer experience, as you will be able to communicate better with the locals working on the project. We therefore advise you to take Spanish lessons at the local Spanish school before starting your volunteer work.
